The Neolithic stone circle near Keswick must have the most dramatic backdrop of any stone circle in the UK. On such a lovely evening just before sunset we had to play a waiting game to get a shot of the circle clear of people (and a hovering drone). Just after I took this shot a lady located herself and her children bang in the centre of the circle and commenced lighting josticks. I do wonder what the people who built this circle would make of the folk who turn up to a take a look today.
